ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FROM THE
STORMWATER DRAINAGE UTILITY SYSTEM (SDUS) FUND FOR
PURPOSES OF FUNDING THE CONSTRUCTION OF FAITH VILLAGE
DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, PHASE I; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Council desires to use funds from the Stormwater Drainage
Utility System (SDUS) Fund for the construction of Faith Village Drainage Improvement
Project, Phase I; and
WHEREAS, the current budget has an available balance of $975,000 in the
Storm Water Drainage Utility System (SDUS) Fund; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to appropriate an additional $1,401,500 of the fund
balance to the operating budget of the Storm Water Drainage Utility System Fund to
cover the bid price of the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the Stormwater Drainage Utility
System (SDUS) Fund the amount of $1,401,500.00. This amount is appropriated to
operating account 552 - 8162 - 77272.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
