Ordinance No. __38-2015__
Ordinance making an appropriation to the Special Revenue Fund for
the Infectious Disease Control/Surveillance and Epidemiology Ebola
Activities in the amount of $166,936 received from the Department of
State Health Services and authorizing the City Manager to execute
contract accepting same
WHEREAS, the Health District and the Department of State Health Services
desire to enter into a contract for enhanced public health services; and,
WHEREAS, approval of these funds could not have been anticipated prior to the
adoption of the 2014 - 2015 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
There is hereby appropriated in the Special Revenue Fund $166,936 for the
Infectious Disease Control/Surveillance and Epidemiology Ebola Activities , and the City
Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with the Department of State Health
Services for the Wichita Falls-Wichita County Public Health District.
