Resolution awarding a professional service agreement to Carollo
Engineers, Inc. in the amount of $304,800 for the preparation of a
USACOE 404 Permit to allow excavation and other improvements to Lake
Wichita
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City to pursue improvements to Lake Wichita ;
and,
WHEREAS, improvements to Lake Wichita will require a Clean Water Act 404
Permit from the USACOE; and,
WHEREAS, preparation of the 404 Permit Application is best performed by an
engineering firm with expertise in this area of federal regulation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Carollo Engineers, Inc. is hereby awarded a professional services agreement in
the basic amount of $304,800 for the preparation of a successful Clean Water Act 404
Permit to the USACOE for improvements to Lake Wichita and the City Manager is
authorized to execute all documents related to this agreement.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 1st day of September 2015.
