RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT WITH THE YMCA OF WICHITA FALLS FOR A LICENSE TO
EXTENDED RESERVATION PRIVILEGES FOR THE ELEVEN
BASEBALL FIELDS IN KIWANIS AND JAYCEE PARKS FOR A
YOUTH /PARENT SPRING BASEBALL LEAGUE; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the YMCA of Wichita Falls desires to conduct another Youth /Parent
Spring Baseball League; and
WHEREAS, the YMCA wishes to have extended reservation privileges to use the
eleven baseball fields in Kiwanis and Jaycee Parks; and
WHEREAS, no problems were reported from the league last year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the attached
contract with the YMCA of Wichita Falls for a license to extended reservation privileges
for the eleven baseball fields in Kiwanis and Jaycee Parks from March 20, 2002,
through August 8, 2002.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
