A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, NAMING THE ELECTION OFFICIALS FOR THE MAY 4,
2002 MUNICIPAL GENERAL ELECTION; DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW
WHEREAS, the City Council ordered a General Election be held on May 4, 2002
for the purpose of electing a Mayor, Councilor District 3, Councilor District 4, and
Councilor District 5; and
WHEREAS, the City Council named the polling places for the May 4, 2002
Municipal Election.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS THAT:
SECTION 1. The election officials for the May 4, 2002 Municipal Election are
hereby named as shown on Exhibit A, attached hereto for all purposes.
SECTION 4. It is officially found and determined that the meeting at which this
resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
