RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT WITH THE UNIVERSITY KIWANIS CLUB OF WICHITA
FALLS, GRANTING CONCESSION RIGHTS FOR FOOD AND DRINK
SALES AT THE UNIVERSITY KIWANIS PARK BASEBALL FIELDS
BUILDING DURING THE SUMMER 2002 BASEBALL SEASON;
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the University Kiwanis Club of Wichita Falls desires to conduct food
and drink sales in University Kiwanis Park at the baseball fields building during the 2002
baseball season; and
WHEREAS, the Club will donate all profits to the City; and
WHEREAS, no problems were reported from the Club's operation last year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
the University Kiwanis Club of Wichita Falls, granting concession rights for food and
drink sales at the University Kiwanis Park baseball fields building during the summer
2002 baseball season.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
