RESOLUTION APPROVING A TEMPORARY ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE
PERMIT IN A LIMITED COMMERCIAL ZONE FOR A ONE -DAY EVENT
JUNE 15, 2002, AT THE HARRISON HOUSE, 2014 ELEVENTH
STREET; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, a temporary alcoholic beverage permit has been requested for a
private party to be held at the Harrison House at 2014 Eleventh Street, zoned Limited
Commercial; and
WHEREAS, the requirements of Section 5420, (5) of the Zoning Ordinance of
the City of Wichita Falls state that temporary alcoholic beverage sales in zones other
than GC, LI, HI, RDD and CBD zones may be authorized subject to the approval of City
Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that approving this permit would be
in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. A temporary alcoholic beverage permit is hereby approved for a
one -day event to be held June 15, 2002, at the Harrison House, 2014 Eleventh Street
Wichita Falls, Texas.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
