RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE SUPERVISORY CONTROL AND DATA
ACQUISITION PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE THE TRANSFER OF THE
REMAINING FUNDS TO AN OPERATIONG ACCOUNT; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract with J &K
Communications with the estimated total cost of $40,835.00; and
WHEREAS, the actual work has not been completed, but $34,709.75 has been
previously paid to the contractor, leaving an amount of $6,125.25; and
WHEREAS, the City Staff has inspected the work and found it to be
unacceptable; and
WHEREAS, the City Staff needs the remaining funds to complete the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition Project is hereby
accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to transfer funds to an operating account
to complete the project.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
