RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND REJECTING BIDS FOR CERTAIN
PARCELS OF EXCESS REAL PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING
EXECUTION OF DEEDS TO CONVEY TITLE; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, three parcels of excess real property have been advertised for sale
to the general public; and
WHEREAS, sealed bids were opened on June 7, 2002, which were submitted by
bidders who desire to purchase said property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The following parcels of real property located in Wichita Falls,
Wichita County, Texas have been identified as excess and have been advertised for
sale to the public by sealed bid.
1. 1701 Midwestern Parkway
Block 10, Abstract 305 — J.A. Scott
(Vacated Fire Station #4)
2. 2515 Fillmore
Lots 9- 10- 11 -12, Block 16 A Highland Addition
(Vacated Fire Station #5)
3. 4200 Weeks Park
Lot 2, Block 10, HS Subdivision
(1.47 Acre Tract out of Weeks Park)
SECTION 2. The highest bids received for the above - described parcels were as
follows:
1. 1701 Midwestern Parkway (Accept) $ 33,500.00

SECTION 3. The above listed high bids, with the exceptions of those noted with
an asterisk ( *), ( #2 and #3), are hereby accepted, and the City Manager is hereby
authorized to execute special warranty deeds conveying title to the buyers of the
properties.
SECTION 4. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
