RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF TRAFFIC FLOW
ANALYSIS EQUIPMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $24,360; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to purchase traffic flow analysis
equipment in the amount of $24,360; and
WHEREAS, the Wichita Falls Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) has
agreed to fund 50% of this cost; and
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to utilize unexpended general fund
subsidies from the Transit System to fund its 50% cost match.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby authorizes the purchase of traffic flow
analysis equipment in the amount of $24,360, recognizing that the Wichita Falls MPO
will fund 50% of this amount.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
