RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, TO AWARD BID AND CONTRACT FOR THE LIFT
STATION 65 PUMP CONTROL VALVE PROJECT; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the construction
of the Lift Station 65 Pump Control Valve Project; and
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest, responsible bidder is Jalyn Construction
Co., which made a unit price bid with an estimated total of $131,000.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Said unit price bid of Jalyn Construction Co., with an estimated
total of $131,000.00 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to execute
a contract for the City with said Contractor for the construction of the Lift Station 65
Pump Control Valve Project.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
