RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, MAKING ADJUSTMENTS TO THE ANNUAL SALARY
OF THE CITY MANAGER, CITY ATTORNEY, CITY CLERK, AND
MUNICIPAL COURT JUDGE; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City Council is responsible for the appointment and evaluation of
the performance of the City Manager, City Attorney, City Clerk, and Municipal Court
Judge; and,
WHEREAS, after performing the evaluations of such officials, the City Council
finds it appropriate to adjust the annual salary of each of the officials.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The annual salary of City Manager Jim Berzina for the 2003 fiscal
year shall be $143,687.50 and allow the accrual of 50 days vacation.
SECTION 2. The annual salary of City Attorney Bill Sullivan for the 2003 fiscal
year shall be $104,355.68
SECTION 3. The annual salary of City Clerk Lydia Torres for the 2003 fiscal year
shall be —$490115. 00
SECTION 4. The annual salary of Municipal Court Judge Larry Gillen for the
2003 fiscal year shall be $71,610.00
SECTION 5. The increases in salary shall be effective January 1, 2003.
SECTION 6. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
