RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO NOTIFY
ELECTRA CONSTRUCTION COMPANY IN WRITING OF THE
CITY'S INTENTION TO EXECUTE NECESSARY CONTRACT
DOCUMENTS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE COLISEUM
PROJECT IN THE AMOUNT OF $19,683,198, UPON RECEIPT OF $7
MILLION OF TAX BOND PROCEEDS AND NECESSARY PRIVATE
MONIES TO FUND THE BALANCE OF THE PROJECT COST;
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH
THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager is authorized to notify Electra Construction
Company in writing of the City's intention to execute the necessary contract documents
for the construction of the Coliseum project, in the amount of $19,683,198, upon receipt
of $7 Million of tax bonds and necessary private monies to fund the balance of the
project cost.
SECTION 2. That it is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
