ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FUNDING FROM THE FEDERAL
TRANSIT ADMINISTRATION AND THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION FOR THE WICHITA FALLS TRANSIT SYSTEM;
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, The City operates a transit system funded through the Federal
Transit Administration and Texas Department of Transportation; and
WHEREAS, funding is required to be appropriated following authorization of
funding by the Federal Transit Administration and Texas Department of Transportation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated $330,048 in federal and state funds
for operations, programs and expenditures associated with the transit system.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
