RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID AND CONTRACT FOR THE
RECOATING OF THE 9TH STREET ELEVATED TANK AND RIVER
ROAD WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT DIGESTER #2 PROJECT;
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the construction
of the Recoating of the 9th Street Elevated Tank and River Road Wastewater
Treatment Plant Digester #2 Project; and
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest, responsible bidder is Elevated Tank
Applications who made a unit price bid with an estimated total of $359,000.00; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Said unit price bid of Elevated Tank Applications with an estimated
total of $359,000.00 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to execute
a contract for the City with said Contractor for the construction of such project.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
