RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID IN THE AMOUNT OF $32,084 TO
SIGMA MICRO CORPORATION FOR A REVERSE 911 TELEPHONE
SYSTEM FOR THE WICHITA FALLS POLICE DEPARTMENT
COMMUNICATIONS /DISPATCH SECTION LOCATED AT 610
HOLLIDAY STREET; DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH
THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City has accepted a proposal for a Reverse 911 system at the
City's Police Department Communications Section; and
WHEREAS, the proposal of Sigma Micro Corporation Reverse 911 provides
excellent service capability at a fair and reasonable price: and
WHEREAS, Sigma Micro Corporation, Reverse 911 provides sufficient technical
and advisory oversight to adequately install maintain and support the system outlined in
the community notification system specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The proposal of Sigma Micro Corporation Reverse 911 Community
Notification System for the City's Police Department Communications / Dispatch
Section is hereby accepted and the City Manager is authorized to negotiate and
execute a purchase contract with Sigma Micro Corporation, Reverse 911 for an amount
not to exceed $32,084.00
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
