RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A LEASE
AGREEMENT AMENDMENT TO THE LEASE DATED JULY 6, 1982 BETWEEN
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS AND THE SOUTHSIDE NEIGHBORHOOD
ACTION GROUP; PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE IN TERM; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS
PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls, Texas has leased the Southside
Community Center to the Southside Neighborhood Action Group since July 6, 1982;
and
WHEREAS, the Southside Neighborhood Action Group desires to extend the
lease of the Southside Community Center located on Opportunity Drive; and
WHEREAS, the City finds that leasing the Southside Community Center to the
Southside Neighborhood Action Group is in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a lease
amendment with the Southside Neighborhood Action Group, attached as Exhibit A.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.

Exhibit A
This lease made and entered into as of the 6th day of July 1982, by and between
the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, and the Southside Neighborhood Action Group, Inc. a
non - profit corporation and a neighborhood action group, is hereby amended as follows.
2.1 The lessee, Southside Neighborhood Action Group, Inc. is granted a lease
extension commencing on July 6, 1992 and ending on September 30, 2002. Thereafter
this agreement will automatically renew on a year to year basis, unless either party
gives prior written notice of termination of this lease to the other party at least thirty (30)
days in advance.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused these present to be
executed as of _'2000.
