RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR SERVICES BETWEEN THE TEXAS STATE LIBRARY AND
ARCHIVES COMMISSION (TSLAC) AND WICHITA FALLS PUBLIC LIBRARY
FOR INTERLIBRARY LOANS, FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Wichita Falls Public Library participates in the Texas interlibrary
loan program; and
WHEREAS, the Texas State Library and Archives Commission (TSLAC) desires
to encourage the interlibrary loan program and has offered to reimburse the Wichita
Falls Public Library for each item loaned up to a maximum of 300 items.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract for
services between the Texas State Library And Archives Commission (TSLAC) and the
Wichita Falls Public Library for interlibrary loans.
SECTION 2. Revenue from said contract shall be deposited into the general
fund.
SECTION 3. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
