RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH THE TEXAS
ENGINEERING EXPERIMENT STATION TO PROVIDE TECHNICAL
ASSISTANCE RELATING TO THE PROPOSED ENERGY
PERFORMANCE CONTRACT WITH CARRIER CORPORATION;
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls, Texas desires to retain the professional
services of the Texas Engineering Experiment Station to provide technical assistance
relating to the City's proposed energy performance contract with Carrier Corporation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a consulting
services agreement with the Texas Engineering Experiment Station to provide technical
assistance relating to the proposed energy performance contract with Carrier
Corporation.
SECTION 2. Said Agreement shall be for an amount not to exceed $6,000.
SECTION 3. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
