RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AN AGREEMENT TO CONTRIBUTE
FUNDS FOR THE KELL PROJECT FOR THE RELOCATION OF
UTILITIES; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Texas Department of Transportation is proposing to construct a
section of Kell Freeway from Kemp Boulevard to Fairway Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, the utility lines which must be relocated to facilitate such
construction; and
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered into an agreement with the Texas
Department of Transportation for cost sharing in those relocations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The Agreement to Contribute Funds for the Kell Project is accepted
and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute said agreements with the Texas
Department of Transportation.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
