The City Council of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas met in special session on the above
date at the proposed site of the Public Safety Training Center, Rosewood and Flood Streets, at
10:30 o'clock a.m., with the following members present:

Mayor called the meeting to order.
A ground breaking ceremony was conducted for the Public Safety Training Center.
Mayor Altman gave the welcome and introduced the City Council members, as well as City
Staff in attendance.
Mayor gave a brief history of the project and thanked the 4B Board and all involved in this
project. The Mayor's remarks were followed by the ground breaking event. The City Council broke
ground first, followed by the 4B Board, Police Chief, Architects, neighborhood representatives and
others.
The City Council adjourned at 10: 45 a.m.
