A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SUBMIT AN
APPLICATION TO THE TEXAS PARKS & WILDLIFE DEPARTMENT
FOR AN OUTREACH GRANT; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department has solicited applications for
their Outreach Grant program; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City to provide a wide range of
recreational /educational experiences for minority /low- income /single - parent children and
for mentally /physically challenged citizens; and
WHEREAS, the State requires resolution by the City Council authorizing
submission of the grant and designation of the responsible official to execute
documents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to submit an application to
the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department for an Outreach Grant and is designated as the
responsible official for executing documents.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
