RESOLUTION APPROVING AN ADVANCED FUNDING AGREEMENT
FOR AN URBAN REHABILITATION PROJECT ON FAIRWAY BLVD.
BETWEEN SOUTHWEST PARKWAY AND SEYMOUR HIGHWAY;
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to improve Fairway Blvd. between
Southwest Parkway and Seymour Highway; and
WHEREAS, funds are available through the Texas Department of Transportation
under the Intermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency Act of 1981; and
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to enter into a contract with the
Texas Department of Transportation to reconstruct Fairway Blvd. between Southwest
Parkway and Seymour Highway.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The attached funding agreement for the rehabilitation of Fairway
Blvd. between Southwest Parkway and Seymour Highway is hereby approved.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
