RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE ENGINEERING SERVICES CONTRACT
WITH CORLETT, PROBST & BOYD, INC. /CAMP, DRESSER & MCKEE
FOR THE JASPER WATER TREATMENT PLANT PRELIMINARY
ENGINEERING REPORT; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a contract with Corlett, Probst &
Boyd, Inc. /Camp, Dresser & McKee with the total cost of $39,750.00; and
WHEREAS, with the ongoing concerns about future water supplies for the City of
Wichita Falls; and
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls wishes to amend the engineering services
contract with Corlett, Probst & Boyd, Inc. /Camp, Dresser & McKee to perform an
evaluation of the reuse of effluent from River Road Wastewater Treatment Plant and
the use of water from Lake Kemp; and,
WHEREAS, the cost of the proposed amendment is $19,200.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The engineering services contract with Corlett, Probst & Boyd,
Inc. /Camp, Dresser & McKee is hereby amended.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
