RESOLUTION TO AWARD OF BID AND CONTRACT FOR CENTRAL
FIRE STATION REROOF PROJECT; FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED
WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the construction
of the Central Fire Station Reroof Project; and
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest, responsible bidder is Lydick Hooks
Roofing who made a lump sum bid with a total of $66,833.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Said lump sum bid of Lydick Hooks Roofing, with a total of
$66,833.00 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a
contract for the City with said Contractor for the construction of such project.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
