RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID AND CONTRACT FOR THE WEEKS
PARK TENNIS COURTS 6, 7, 8, & 9 RECONSTRUCTION AND
HAMILTON PARK TENNIS COURT RESURFACING 5, 6, 7, & 8
PROJECT; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the Weeks Park
Tennis Courts 6, 7, 8, & 9 Reconstruction and Hamilton Park Tennis Court Resurfacing
5, 6, 7, & 8 Project; and
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is Arthur Construction
Co. of Wichita Falls who made a lump sum bid of $160,000.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Said lump sum bid of Arthur Construction Co., with a total amount
of $160,000.00 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a
contract for the City with said Contractor for the construction of such project.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
