RESOLUTION APPROVING LETTER OF AGREEMENT WITH STONE
LAKE L.L.C. DEALING WITH THE CONSTRUCTION OF BARTLEY
DRIVE; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH
THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to assist the Stone Lake L.L.C. for
the improvement of Bartley Drive and,
WHEREAS, the Stone Lake L.L.C. has agreed to pave Bartley Drive from the
end of the current pavement to Rathgeber Road.
WHEREAS, by this agreement the City will agree to improve Bartley Drive from
Southwest Parkway to the end of the existing street by widening to 48 feet to match the
Thoroughfare Plan requirements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to sign the attached Letter of
Agreement which provides for the City to improve the existing Bartley Drive to 48 feet in
width within two years of completion a similar improvement by the Stone Lake L.L.C. of
the 200 feet unpaved section of Bartley Drive and the remaining section of Bartley Drive
to Rathgeber Road.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.

RE: Letter of Agreement
Dear Mr. McGregor:
The purpose of this letter is to document an agreement between the Stone Lake L.L.C.
and the City of Wichita Falls pertaining to Bartley Drive.
Specifically, the Stone Lake L.L.C. agrees to construct Bartley Drive from the south end
of the existing roadway to Rathgeber Road. This cross section is to be a collector
street cross section 48 feet in width, meeting the City of Wichita Falls Thoroughfare
Plan inclusive of sidewalks. Additionally, the Stone Lake L.L.C. agrees to obtain a
dedication instrument from the YMCA, changing the 20 -foot utility easement on the
west side of Bartley, to a municipal right -of- way /and utility easement.
Within two years of completion of the above noted dedication and construction, the City
of Wichita Falls agrees to widen Bartley Drive from Southwest Parkway, southerly to the
end of the existing street surface, to match the Stone Lake L.L.C. construction. The
City will widen the street to 48 feet to match the collector cross section inclusive of
sidewalks.
