RESOLUTION APPROVING THE AMENDMENT OF ARTICLE II, TERM,
OF THE LEASE WITH SOUTHWEST CAR AND TRUCK RENTAL V
LTD., D.B.A. BUDGET CAR AND TRUCK RENTAL, TO EXPIRE
MARCH 31, 2003; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING
AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, has a lease agreement with
Southwest Car and Truck Rental V Ltd.; and,
WHEREAS, the City and Lessee desire to extend the term of such lease until
March 31, 2003, for the same rental rates and other provisions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The amendment of Article II, Term, to extend the term of such
lease with Southwest Car and Truck Rental V Ltd., until March 31, 2003 is hereby
approved, and the City Manager is authorized to execute the same for the City.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
