RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID AND CONTRACT FOR THE SOUTH
PLUM LAKE SHORELINE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT (TPW); FINDING
AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the South Plum
Lake Shoreline Improvements Project (TPW); and
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is McGrath Brothers
Concrete of Wichita Falls who made a unit price bid of $21,660.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Said unit price bid of McGrath Brothers Concrete, with a total
amount of $21,660.00 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to
execute a contract for the City with said Contractor for the construction of such project.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
