RESOLUTION TO APPROVE ENGINEERING SERVICES CONTRACT
WITH CORNERSTONE ENGINEERING FOR THE INSPECTION OF A
3,000,000 GALLON STEEL GROUND STORAGE TANK AT CYPRESS
WATER TREATMENT PLANT AND RECOATING AND MINOR REPAIRS
TO THE NINTH STREET ELEVATED TANK; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to have the 3,000,000 gallon ground
storage tank at Cypress Water Treatment Plant inspected and the Ninth Street elevated
tank requires recoating; and
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls wishes to retain the engineering firm of
Cornerstone Engineering for the preparation of the plans and specifications for the
recoating of the Ninth Street elevated tank and to perform the inspection of the
3,000,000 gallon ground storage tank at Cypress Water Treatment Plant.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The contract between Cornerstone Engineering for the inspection
of the 3,000,000 gallon steel ground storage tank at Cypress Water Treatment Plant
and recoating and minor repairs of the Ninth Street elevated tank is hereby approved at
a cost of $36,250.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
