Res 068-2000 5/16/2000RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID AND CONTRACT FOR 2000 ALLEY
REHABILITATION PROJECT; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the construction
of the 2000 Alley Rehabilitation Project; and
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest, responsible bidder is McGrath Brothers
who made a unit price bid with an estimated total of $406,811.25.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Said unit price bid of McGrath Brothers, with an estimated total of
$406,811.25 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a
contract for the City with said Contractor for the construction of such project.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
