RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AGREEMENT WITH TEXAS
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR THE RELOCATION OF
UTILITIES FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE BRIDGE AT 1 -44 AND
MAURINE STREET; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Texas Department of Transportation is constructing
improvements to the bridge at 1 -44 and Maurine Street; and
WHEREAS, a 16 -inch water line needs to be relocated for the bridge
improvements at 1 -44 and Maurine Street; and
WHEREAS, the State has agreed to provide funding for the materials used for
the relocation of the 16 -inch waterline.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The Council has examined the proposed agreement, and the
agreement is hereby approved with authority for the City Manager to execute said
agreement.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
