RESOLUTION TO REJECT BID FOR THE RECOATING OF DIGESTER
NO. 2 AT THE RIVER ROAD WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT
PROJECT; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised for bids for the construction of
the Recoating of Digester No. 2 at the River Road Wastewater Treatment Plant; and
WHEREAS, it is found there is no acceptable low bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Said lump sum bid of Bowles Construction Co. with an estimated
total cost of $118,900.00 is hereby rejected.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
