RESOLUTION APPROVING ADVANCED FUNDING AGREEMENT FOR
A TRANSPORTATION ENHANCEMENT PROJECT ENTITLED
HOLLIDAY CREEK PEDESTRIAN AND BICYCLE TRAIL, PHASE II -B;
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to construct Phase II -B, Holliday
Creek Pedestrian and Bicycle Trail; and
WHEREAS, Transportation Enhancement Funds are available through the
Intermodal Surface Transportation and Efficiency Act of 1991 and the Transportation
Equity Act for the 21 st Century to pay for 80% of the construction; and
WHEREAS, the attached Funding Agreement for this funding source is made
available through the Texas Department of Transportation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The attached Funding Agreement for a Transportation
Enhancement Project is hereby approved.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
