Resolution Creating A Citizens Advisory Committee To Research
Development Of Tax Increment Financing Reinvestment Zone #4.
WHEREAS, the City Council is interested in the long-term economic
development of the community and the development of public infrastructure; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is considering the creation of a Tax Increment
Financing Reinvestment Zone #4 in downtown Wichita Falls.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
1. There shall be created a Citizens Advisory Committee for a Tax Increment
Financing Reinvestment Zone #4, as provided by Chapter 311 of the TExas Tax Co�E.
2. Such Committee shall consist of the following members, including finro Council
liaisons: Councilor porothy Roberts-Burns, Councilor Michael Smith, Marcia Bernhardt,
Dennis Cannedy, Mark Chase, John Dickinson, Ralph Dunkelberg III, Ben Filer,
Richard Graham, Cynthia Laney, Andy Lee, Barry Mahler, Jeff Marion, Matt
Muehlberger, Julie Ressell, Mike Rucker, Debbie Schwartz, Charles White, and David
H. White.
3. The Committee shall assist the City Council and staff in the preparation of a
preliminary Reinvestment Zone Plan for the downtown.
