Resolution To Request Funding From The Wichita Falls 413 Sales Tax
Corporation For Park Improvements In City Council District 5 In An
Amount Of Up To $318,000
WHEREAS, the number and development of parks in District V is below that in
the other four City Council Districts and,
WHEREAS, it is desirable to provide a better balance in the number and
development of parks in each City Council district.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Authorization is hereby given for City staff to submit a request to the Wichita
Falls 4B Sales Tax Corporation for funding park improvements in City Council District 5
in an amount of $318,000, as described in the attached Funding Cost Summary
Recommendation.
