Resolution Awarding Bid For The Purchase Of Five Ford Focus
Sedans To Sam Pack's Five Star Ford In The Amount Of $72,170.00
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls adopted a fuel conservation policy in
December 2008 which addresses the purchase of more fuel efficient vehicles;
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of five sedans;
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on July 8, 2011; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase five sedans for the City's
vehicle fleet, based on the estimated total life cycle cost to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid for the purchase of five Ford Focus sedans is awarded to Sam Pack's
Five Star Ford in the amount of $72,170.00, and staff are authorized to execute all
documents necessary to purchase said items.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 2 "d day of August, 2011.
