Ordinance No. _33-2015___
Ordinance accepting funds in the amount of $4 2,316.50 received
from the FY 2015 Emergency Management Performance Grant
(EMPG) and authorizing the City Manager to execute contracts and
other documents related thereto
WHEREAS, the Emergency Preparedness Program has received notice of the
award of 2015 EMPG funding from the Texas Division of Emergency Management; and,
WHEREAS, the City’s Emergency Preparedness Program desires to receive
these funds to continue providing services to t he city; and,
WHEREAS, these funds were already appropriated through the adoption of the
FY 2015 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The 2015 Emergency Management Performance Gra nt in the amount of
$42,316.50 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a
contract with the Texas Division of Emergency Management accepting the grant and
other documents related thereto.
