Resolution authorizing the purchase of a Voice Recorder from Vista
Com for $89,939.09 for the Public Safety Sector’s Voice Recorder
WHEREAS, the City’s budget includes funds to replace the City’s existing Voice
Recording System that is in excess of 10 years old; and,
WHEREAS, this device no longer has adequate support by existing vendors;
and,
WHEREAS, quotes were received from State vendors on the Department of
Information Resources’ Contract List for the purchase of this equipment; and,
WHEREAS, after reviewing these proposals, it is in the City’s best interest to
award the proposal submitted by Vista Com.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The purchase of a Voice Recording System from Vista Com in the amount of
$89,939.09 is hereby approved.
