RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE A LEASE AGREEMENT WITH THE FEDERAL AVIATION
ADMINISTRATION FOR LEASE OF SPACE AT THE WICHITA FALLS
MUNICIPAL AIRPORT; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN
TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a lease agreement with the FAA; and
WHEREAS, the lease expires September 30, 2001; and
WHEREAS, the FAA and the City desire to enter into a lease through September
30, 2002 with a series of one year options through September 30, 2006.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The lease of premises between the FAA and the City of Wichita
Falls is hereby approved and the City Manager is authorized to execute same for the
City.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
