RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID AND EXECUTE CONTRACT FOR THE
ANAEROBIC DIGESTER AND CLARIFIER RECOATING PROJECT;
FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the Anaerobic
Digester and Clarifier Recoating Project; and
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is Champion Coatings,
who made a lump sum bid with a total cost of $119,000.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Said lump sum bid of Champion Coatings, with a total cost of
$119,000.00 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a
contract for the City with said Contractor for the construction of such project.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
