RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AN EXPENDITURE OF $26,000.00
FROM THE WICHITA FALLS POLICE DEPARTMENT'S SEIZED FUNDS
ACCOUNT FOR THE REPAIR AND UPGRADE OF THE
DEPARTMENT'S EXISTING COMPUTER HARDWARE; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Wichita Falls Police Department's existing computer hardware is
in need of certain repairs as well as upgrades to allow for a more efficiently functioning
department;
WHEREAS, funds are available in the Wichita Falls Police Department's Seized
Funds Account to accomplish these actions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The expenditure of funds in the amount of $26,000.00 from the
Wichita Falls Police Department's Seized Funds Account is hereby authorized for the
expenses necessary to repair and upgrade existing computer hardware at the Police
Department.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
