RESOLUTION TO AWARD OF BID AND CONTRACT FOR PHASE TWO
SIXTH STREET TRUNK MAIN PROJECT; FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED
WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the construction
of the Phase Two Sixth Street Trunk Main Project; and
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is Barson Utilities,
which made a unit price bid with an estimated total of $666,984.50.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Said unit price bid of Barson Utilities, with an estimated total of
$666,984.50 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a
contract for the City with said Contractor for the construction of such project.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
