RESOLUTION TO AWARD A BID TO COMPUTER LAND OF WICHITA
FALLS IN THE AMOUNT OF $23,083.00 FOR THE PURCHASE OF
VARIOUS COMPUTER COMPONENTS; FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED
WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, funds were included in the 2001 -02 budget to upgrade 82 City
workstations that are approximately five years old and no longer able to effectively run
the City's standard operating systems or office automation applications; and
WHEREAS, bids were solicited from vendors on the State's Qualified Information
System's Vendor List for the purchase of various computer components for these
computer upgrades; and
WHEREAS, Computer Land of Wichita Falls submitted the total bid price of
$23,083.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Authorization is hereby granted to award a bid to Computer Land for
the purchase of various computer workstation components in the amount of $23,083.00.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
