RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, TO AWARD THE BID AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR THE SECONDARY
RESERVOIR WATER STORAGE POND ADDITION PROJECT; FINDING
AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the construction
of the Secondary Reservoir Water Storage Pond Addition Project; and
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is Prater Equipment
Co., which made a unit price bid with an estimated total of $675,387.75.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The unit price bid of Prater Equipment Co. for the Secondary
Reservoir Water Storage Pond Addition project, with an estimated total of $675,387.75,
is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a contract on behalf
of the City of Wichita Falls with Prater Equipment Co. for the construction of such
project.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
