are the owners of all the lots adjacent to those portions of the streets and alleys
herein closed and abandoned and. have prepared for filing an amended plat of Ingle-
wood Place, an addition to the City of ruic'-dta Falls, NTichdta County, Texas, and. in
said amended plat have provided adequate steets and alleys and easements for utili-
ties, and desire that the hereinafter described parts of alleys and streets be closed
and abandonew, said amended plat to be known as 11Atiended Plat of Inglewood Place,
an Addition to ?F,ichita Falls, Texas",

FALLS, TEXAS:
That the following described portions ofthe hereinafter named alleys and
streets be closed and abandoned:
All alleys in Block Number 1; all that part of the alley in Block
Nurrrber 2 running north and south, bounded on west by Lots 1, 2 and
3 and on east by Lot 31; all those parts of Park Drive lying between
,'ooddale Ave. and Oakwood Ave.; all that part of the east-west alley
in Block 3, bounded on west and north by Lots 13, 14) 15 and 16 and
on the east and south by Lot 17, all in Inglewood Place Addition to
the City of Wichita Falls, Texas.
Said City shall have all the easements shown on said Amended Plat of Ingle-
wood Place.
That the closing of said streets and alleys shall be subject to a right-of-
way easement for all utilities now located therein, and such easements are hereby
reserved by the City in said streets and alleys for such utilities now located
therein, with a right of ingress and egress for the maintenance of same, and sub-
ject to the further provisions that if any building or structure is located over
any existing se-orer or water lines that the City of Ilichita Falls will not be liable
for any damages resulting from the operation amd maintenance of such sewer or water
lines.
The fact that the present ot+mers are ready to build a large number of dwellings
in said addition, and that such additional housing is urgently needed by the public
and co raunity since there is an acute shortage of residential buildings, creates
an emergency and it is hereby declared that the foregoinzL ordinance is an emergency
measure and the rule requiring the reading: of this ordinance on three separate days
is hereby suspended and this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its
passage.
