STREETS AND ALLEYS OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, IN THE AREA OF

THAT PART OF AVENUE "NI" EAST OF iWNROE TO A POINT WHICH
ALIGNS WITH TEE WEST LINE, OF ALLEY RUNNING NORTH ='ND SOUTH IN BLOC',- 97-A
HIGHLAND ADDITION; THE WEST ALLEY RUNNING NORI`H lil SOUTH IN BLOCK
102-A HIGHLAND ADDITION; "i' , ALLEY RUNNING EAST AND WEST IN BLOCK 103-L
HIGHLAND .ADDITION AND A SI'gltLL TRIANGULARLY SHAPED PORTION OF MONROE

CITY SHALL UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES BE LIABLE FOR DAIUGES IN rVENT BUILDINGS

1. That part of Avenue 111" running East and ;hest between
1,sonroe Street and Shepherd Street easterly to a point ;which aligns
with the west line of alley running North and South in Block 97-A
Highland Addition: BEGINNING at a point in the East line of
Monroe Street 250 feet North of its intersection with the North line
of Avenue "0"; thence East 120 feet; thence North 40 feet; thence
West 120 feet; thence South 40 feet to beginning.
2. The West Alley running North and South in Block 102-A
Highland Addition: nEGINNING at a point in the North line of Avenue
110" 150 feet East of its intersection wi u-h the East line of Monroe
Street; thence North 250 feet; thence East 20 feet; thence South 250 lop
feet; thence West 20 feet to beginning.
3. The alley running East and West in Block 103-A Highland
Addition: BEGINNING at a point in the East line of Monroe Street
63.5 feet North of its intersection viith the North line of Railroad
Avenue; Thence East 100 feet; thence North 20 feet; thence West 100
feet; thence South 20 feet to beginning.
4. Triangle out of uionroe Street: bEGINNING at a point in the
West line of L onroe Street South 27 deg 14 min Rest 278 feet from the
intersection of the West line of ivonroe Street with the South line of
Avenue 'IL"; thence South 137.1 feet to an intersection with the North
line of Avenue I'M"; Thence North 62 deg 46 min West along the North
line of avenue "M" 62.8 feet; thence North 27 deg 14 min East 122 feet
to beginning.
NOW, 7-±,,REFORE, BE IT 011DAINED BY TTIE BOARD OF ALDE:CWMN OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the above described portions of streets and alleys
BE AND THE SALE ARE HTIi EBY CLOSED AND AB JMONED.
Section 2. That the closing of said streets and alleys shall be
subject to a right-of-way easement for all utilities which may be located
therein, and same is hereby reserved in said streets and alleys by the City
with ingress and egress for the maintenance of same, subject farther to the
provision that if any builddng or structure is located over existing sewer
or water lines, or iiiay hereafter be so located, that the City of Wichita
Falls, Texas, will not be liable for any damage resulting from the operation
and maintenance of such sewer or water lines, etc.
THE (FA,CT that such portion of aforesaid closed streets and alleys
will become a part of the STEPHENS ADDITION, A SUBDIVISION OF PORTIONS OF
BLACKS 97-A.; 101-A; 102-A and 103-A of the HIGHLAND ADDITION to the City
of Wichita Falls, Texas, and that such will nod.`' hereafter be used for the
benefit of the Public since the said STEIN' S ADDITION provides proper streets
and alleys to serve the public in a better capacity and will be more convenient
and useful to the public than those abandoned, and such closing of said streets
and alleys and the dedication of other streets and alleys in the said

Stephens Addition in lieu thereof will be a direct benefit to the in-
habitants of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, and those living in that
vicinity, and such facts create an emergency;
The above described portions of streets and alleys hereby
vacated and abandoned have never been used by the Public, nor do they serve
the inhabitants in the vicinity; no part of such abandonded streets or
alleys are graded or in anywise marked or identified on the grounde
