ABAN`DQ7iTNG AND CLOSITTG ALL TP7, ALLEYS LOCATED IN BLOCKS
65, 66, 67, 70, 71, and 72 OF THE ORIGINAL TOIFINSITE OF
T-qEH CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, AND R'uTAINING AN EASEMENT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE, BOARD OF ALDERnMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That that portion of Lincoln Street lying between
the East boundary line of Corwin Street and the West boundary line of
Clay Street; and that portion of Calhoun Street lying; between the North
boundary line of �vichita Street and the South boundary line of Caroline
Street; and that portion of Webster Street lying between the North Bank
of The Big 'gichita River and the South boundary line of Caroline Street
be, and the same are hereby closed and abandoned except as hereinafter
set out.
SECTION 2. That all the alleys now located in Blocks 65, 66,
67, 70, 71, and 72 of the Original Townsite of the City of 'vVichita Falls
be, and the same are hereby closed and abandoned, except as hereinafter
set out.
SECTION 3. The City of l,lichita Falls retains an easement in,
on, over, and under any part of said streets and alleys for the purposes
of maintaining, installing, or repairing* anyutility wire, or any other
a
method. of transporting; ny form of a public utility commodity.
SECTION 4. Property herein closed to public use is closed for
the purpose of permitting the Housing* Authority of the City of ti'ichita
Falls to beautify and landscape the same and to use the same in its
housing project now in progress of development.
