WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS BY ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS ADJACENT
TO T TE PRESENT TERRITORIAL LDJITS OF THE CITY OF WI CHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THE SA1,1E LYING IN A NORTHERLY DIRECTION
FROT+T THE PRESENT CITY LL:rITS OF THE CITY OF WICTTITA FALLS,
TEXAS, ALL OF 'MiTICH LANDS ARE TIOT�E FULLY DESCRIBED IN
THE BODY OF TTT IS ORDINANCE.
SECTION 1. BE IT ORDAITED by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita
Falls, Texas , that the following described tract of land
located in Wichita County, Texas., be, and the same is hereby,
now ordered to be annexed to, and to be included within
the corporate limits of the City of ' ichita Falls , Texas,
and that the corporate limits of said City be extended to
include such tract of land, more particularly described
as follows, to-wit:
Be-inning at a point in the present City limits where the
East right-of-way line of U. S. Highway No. 70 intersects
the ivo»th line of the S.L.B. Jasper Survey, Abstract No.
168;
'thence in a Northwesterly direction along the Last right-
of-way line of said U.S. Highway No. 70 to a point in a
'lesterly prolongation of the North line of Lots 6, 7, a1 d
8 of the i:cKinley and Sirarnons Sub-division out of the
Thomas Curry Survey, Abstract No. 344;
Thence East along the North line of said Lots 6, 7, and 8
of the said McKinley and Simmons Sub-division, and the
-prolongation of said North line to the West line of the
WVm. Anglin Survey, Abstract No. 2 ;
Thence North along the :Vest line of the said WVm. Anglin
Survey to its Northwest corner;
Thence East along the North line of the said Wm. An lin
Survey to the Southwest corner of the Richard Brown
Survey, Abstract No. 521;
Thence north along the division line between the Richard
3rown Survey and the Louis 'dells Survey, Abstract No, 323,
a distance of 1521 feet;
Thence mast 570 feet to a point ;

containing within these metes and bounds 1310 acres of
land more or less.
S"CTION 2. In conformity with Section 3-A of the Amended Charter of
the City of .Wichita Falls , Texas , this Ordinance is in-
troduced on this the 2nd day of August, 1951, and the
City Clerk is directed to publish said Ordinance one time
in a newspaper of J,erleral circulation published in the
City of VIichita _Palls, Texas , and after seven days have
elapsed, this Ordinance may be f_nally acted upon.
Said Ordinance having been introduced on the 2nd day of
August, A.D. , 1951, and having been published in a news-
paper in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, such newspaper
being of Jeneral circulation, and seven days from such
publication having elapsed, said Ordinance is finally
passed and approved this the day of August, A.D. ,
1951.
