NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDER- MEN, CITY OF WICTHrITA FALLS, TE1 AS: Sectionl. That Section 24 of ved on the 2nd day the same is hereby as follows, to wit: Ordinance 1243 passed and anpro- of November, A. D., 1936, be and amended so as to hereafter read Section 24. That the City Manager of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, shall designate some person or persons to make daily collections of the money deposited in said parking meters, the last of these daily collections to be as promptly after 6:30 P.M. as possible on each day. It shall be the duty of such person or persons so designated to remove from the parking meters the coins deposited in said meters and to deliver the same to the City Clerk of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas. It shall be the duty of the City Clerk of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, to count the funds so de- livered to him and to deposit said funds to the credit of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, in its regular depository. The City Clerk of the City of Wich=ta Falls, Texas, is further auth- orized to direct that the person collecting the funds from such parking meters may deposit the funds directly T7ith the Bank des- ignated by the City Clerk, the same to be at the discretion of the City Clerk. The funds so received by the City Clerk and deposited to the account of the City of Wichita Falls shall be credited to the General Fund of such City. The City Clerk is further directed to keep records of such income so that he may have a separate account showing the amount of funds received by the General Fund from parking meters.
